Chelsea F.C managed to win the very first trophy ten years after it was established, but the first major trophy came during the 1954-1955 season under manager Ted Drake who guided the club to its first league victory. The highest home attendance of 82,905 was recorded on 12th October 1935 when the team was playing against Arsenal. On the contrary, the lowest home attendance of 3,000 was recorded on 17th February 1906 when it was playing against Lincoln City. On 29th September 1971, the Blues had the best win of 13-0 goals against Jeunesse Hautcharage, and the highest loss of 1-8 against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 26th September 1953.
During the 2004-2005 season, the blues had the most clean sheets of 34 out of 59 games and fewest during the 1960-1961period as 2 out of 47 plays. Reg Matthews is the only goalkeeper to save most penalties (9), and Frank Lampard as the only player to score most penalties (49).
