David Luiz To Miss Both Barcelona Legs

by David on April 17, 2012

Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed David Luiz will miss both legs of Chelsea‘s Champions League semi-final against Barcelona as well as this weekend’s crucial Premier League trip to Arsenal.

The interim Blues boss hoped the defender would recover from his hamstring injury within two weeks, which would mean missing up to four games.

Branislav Ivanovic is available for Wednesday’s Barcelona game during his domestic three-match suspension.

Chelsea Squad For Barcelona:
Cech, Ivanovic, Bosingwa, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Mikel, Meireles, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Malouda, Drogba, Torres, Sturridge, Kalou, Turnbull.
